Two years into the COVID-19 pandemic and women in corporate America are even more burned out than before and at higher rates than their male counterparts. They are giving 100% in the workplace, at home and in between, and yet the still find the time and energy to support their coworkers, finish their own work and plan Happy Hour. We can all name a woman, at work or in life, that manages to accomplish all of those things. At Domtar, that woman is Stephanie Barker.
Stephanie is the third member of our amazing Creative Team and a future contributor to our blog. New to Domtar, she’s always had a passion for paper, from her love of Lisa Frank stationary as a child, to her seemingly odd infatuation with direct mail, printed advertising and her desire to always have hard copies, it’s no surprise that Stephanie was a perfect match for Domtar.
While she contributes to the Paper Matters blog, helps craft our magazine and manages our content calendar, her official title is Communications Manager. You can expect Stephanie to weigh in on branding, sustainability, work/life balance and more, because she has experience in all of those areas.
Stephanie earned a BSBA in Marketing at Western Carolina University and brings over 15 years of experience in the areas of sales, marketing, public relations, and business development. Driven by her passion for increasing demand and driving results, Stephanie specializes in creating effective communication strategies both internally and externally and is great at keeping up with market trends, new technologies and best practices.
