Every year, St. Teresa’s Academy (STA) in Kansas City, Missouri, concepts and designs a new viewbook for their Admissions Department. They’re charged with creating an engaging piece for potential students as well as their parents. For some, the printed piece is their first impression of the school. Needless to say, STA didn’t disappoint. The viewbook has three components: the main book; a tri-fold brochure insert that contains information on college stats, the admissions timeline, and more for the parents; and a fun set of stickers for the students. STA also had the foresight to make the “main” book evergreen and ordered a two-year supply so they could update only the insert with new data for the next school year.
The project itself was a collaborative effort between the STA in-house team of Maurine Kierl (copywriter), Kate Dujakovich (graphic design) and Megan Schaefer (art direction and graphic design), Kelly Pack (watercolor illustrations), and kDog Photo (photography). With Modern Litho tapped as the printer, this project was destined for success.
