Wood Products

Wood is one of the most versatile and renewable resources. Not only is it the most sustainable building material, it is energy-efficient and cost-effective. From the flooring right up to your rooftop, our wood products are the natural choice for today’s environmentally conscious homeowner.

Our Approach

Domtar is a North American forest products company that holds a leadership position in the wood products market. We are a leading producer of lumber and other wood products for the residential construction and home renovation markets, as well as for specialized structural and industrial applications. Our U.S. sawmills produce dimension lumber and decking from Southern Yellow Pine, and supply chips and other wood residues to third-party pulp and paper mills and other end-users.

Did you know?

The wood used to build the typical North American house stores 22 metric tons of carbon dioxide. This is equivalent to the greenhouse gas emissions of one car over more than three years.
