Paper Continues to Connect Us

At Domtar, we want our community to thrive, so we use Paper Matters as a platform to uplift those who are elevating print and doing good work in the industry.  In this issue, the connection between paper and the people that use it is more evident ever and between the pages you will discover:

  • The employees and processes that have made Domtar’s Kingsport, Tennessee, mill a contributing member of that community since 1916 – and its future as our company’s first 100-percent recycled containerboard facility.

Paper Matters also celebrates the inspiring and evolving world of paper by spotlighting incredible works of print. Aside from your journey with Fig, you can dive into details behind The Women’s Foundation – We Work for Change 25th Anniversary and learn how collaboration can take you print project further than you ever expected. , We also uncover the roots and reverberations of Los Angeles Country rock in the Western Edge and learn how the Country Music Hall of Fame is using print to create a deeper connection with visitors.

Domtar’s community extends well beyond its headquarters in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Across North America, our papers mills are active corporate citizens in all the different communities of which we are a part. So, it’s fitting that the theme of community is woven throughout this issue. Paper Matters is a resource for inspiration. It’s a living, breathing example of how the power of paper and print add acritical and unique experience to the marketing mix.
